Tarragon plant is native to central Europe, Eastern Europe and southern Russia. Tarragon is a sprawling, largely flowerless plant with shiny dark green, aromatic, flavorful leaves. It is one of four main herbs of French cooking, and particularly suitable for chicken, lasagna, fish and egg dishes.
Best Site: In sunny location, tolerates light shade in hot-summer climates.
Quantity: Up to 6 plants per box and usually intermixed with other herbs.
Pruning, training: Cut back leaves and stems if growth becomes too large.
Time to harvest: Harvest in 3 weeks and on throughout the growing season.
Harvest: Snipe off leaves and do not cut stems.
Pest control: regular applications of neem oil recommended.
