The Honey Mandarin is a yellow-to-orange sweet medium sized fruit with few seeds. It has a polished looking thin skin that is easy to peel. It is a hybrid of the King Tandor and Willowleaf Mandarins. The Honey Mandarin tree is shrubby with white fragrant flowers and grows well in many locations. And yes, there is a reason why they call this tree ‘Honey’: the juicy flesh tastes of spiced honey, and it consistently ranks as the best tasting and smelling of all the mandarin trees available.
