The Algerian Mandarin, also known as the Clementine (or, if you’re at the grocery store, “Cuties”), is a sweet, succulent fruit with a thin red orange skin. It is small to medium sized with few to many seeds and grows in many locations but is less cold resistant than other mandarins. The Algerian Mandarin holds on to the nearly-thornless tree for months at a time.
