Thyme can grow up to 1 feet tall and 2 feet wide.  Thymes are diminutive Mediterranean members of the mint family with tiny, usually heavily scented leaves. Lemon Thyme has one of the most pleasant fragrances around!

Thyme can be used as a seasoning in many different dishes. Lemon thyme makes a great addition to any zesty recipe.

Best site: In a sunny location in mild climates and in partial shade where summers are hot.

Quantity: Up to 6 plants per box generally intermixed with other herbs.

Pruning, training: Shear or cut back established plants to keep them compact.

Time to harvest: Harvest in 3 weeks and on throughout the growing season.

Harvest: Snip off braches as needed.

Pest control: Regular applications of neem oil recommended.
