Dancy Mandarins

The Dancy Mandarin is a large tangerine originally from Morocco. It has red orange thin skin with very little albedo (the bitter white part) so that the rind has been used in Chinese dishes such as tangerine beef. It has year round glossy foliage and an intense floral, fruity aroma. The Dancy Mandarin has a moderate amount of seeds, and a juicy pulp that is flavor-packed and sweet to taste, making for an incomparably rich glass of fresh juice.
